Sosai needs one piece of logo motion that scales cleanly from a fraction of a second to a few seconds, built once and extended rather than reinvented for each use. The mark has to resolve fast, read clearly at any size, and feel like the same brand whether it is loading an app or closing a film. This is a small, precise system, not three separate animations.
Overview & Goals
- Build one motion idea that extends cleanly across the app splash, social opener, and film outro without feeling stretched or cut short
- Make the sub-second app version the benchmark, everything longer should feel like a natural continuation of it, not a separate edit
- Keep the mark instantly legible on both light and dark grounds and on transparent backgrounds
- Land a confident, quiet resolve in under three seconds with no reliance on sound
Budget & Timeline
Work begins once the refreshed wordmark is signed off in November, with the full three week window used to design the shortest version first and extend it outward into the longer cuts, rather than building each length separately.
Video delivery

- Formats
- 16:9, 9:16, 1:1
- Treatment
- Motion graphics
- Script

- Music
- Not decided yet
- Logo files
- Yes, vector available
Target Audience
The people who will see this the most are users opening the Sosai app many times a day, so the shortest cut has to carry the full weight of the brand on its own. Everyone else, viewers of films and social posts, will recognize the same motion signature at a slower pace.

In the client's own words
We need the wordmark to move: at the end of the explainer film, at the start of anything we post, and as the small mark that appears while the app is loading. One idea, three durations. The wordmark itself is being refreshed in a separate project and will be final before this starts. It should feel like something settling into place rather than assembling with a flourish.
Scope & Deliverables
- App loading mark, silent and near instant
- Social intro cut for post openers
- Film outro cut for explainer endings
- Transparent background exports
- Light ground and dark ground versions
- Delivery across 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1
Do's & Don'ts
Do
- Design the sub-second app version first and treat every other length as an extension of it
- Deliver on transparent background and on both light and dark grounds
- Keep the existing color palette intact
- Protect the app splash version if any tradeoff has to be made
Don't
- Do not animate each letter of the wordmark separately
- Do not end the animation on a bounce
- Do not add sound design or subtitles the app would need to load
- Do not treat the three lengths as unrelated edits
