Emparo autumn ad spot

emparo is a Swiss e-commerce retailer for home, kitchen, tech, sport and garden goods, shipping everything from a warehouse inside Switzerland. This spot exists to make one thing clear: order today, it arrives tomorrow, no wondering where it came from. The message is about trust and speed, not price.

Overview & Goals

  • Communicate that products ship from a Swiss warehouse and arrive the next day
  • Build trust around origin and reliability rather than discounting
  • Land the message in the first three seconds, with or without sound
  • Perform consistently across pre-roll, social feed and a possible cinema slot

Budget & Timeline

BudgetAround $20k
TimelineDelivery by 20 September

Script locked mid-August, shoot booked for early September with half a day at the warehouse plus stock and motion for the rest, delivery of all cuts by 20 September. Campaign runs on YouTube pre-roll and Meta from 25 September for six weeks, with a possible cinema slot in Zurich in December triggering the 30 second cut.

In the client's own words

We want our first proper ad spot, running as pre-roll on YouTube and in paid social from late September. The message is not a discount. It is that you can order things for the house from a Swiss warehouse and have them the next day, without wondering where they come from. We have never made a film before, we have no footage, and we have no script. Budget is real but not television money, so an approach that depends on a big shoot is not going to work.

Scope & Deliverables

  • Main ad spot with shorter pre-roll cut-downs
  • Optional cinema-length cut for a December Zurich slot
  • Versions built for 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1 placements
  • German voice-over with a Swiss speaker
  • French and Italian subtitle versions
  • Silent-friendly edit with on-screen messaging
  • Licensed, non-generic music track
  • Final delivered files, no source handover

Do's & Don'ts

Do

  • Make the first three seconds work without sound and without the logo
  • Show real products, not abstractions
  • Keep the Swiss warehouse and next-day promise the throughline in every cut, not just the longest one
  • Design for silent viewing first, sound second

Don't

  • Do not build the idea around a punchline that only lands in the 20 second cut
  • Do not use a stock music bed that sounds like every other retail ad
  • Do not lean on discount or price language, this is a trust and speed message
  • Do not treat the shorter cuts as afterthoughts, they carry the same core message
