Jandi needs a sticker system that carries the unboxing moment from doorstep to daily life: a seal that greets the recipient on the box itself, and a sheet inside that survives past the delivery day on laptops and water bottles. This is packaging as a small gift within the gift, built to feel handmade and warm rather than corporate.
Overview & Goals
- Give every Jandi box a satisfying, tactile open moment with a seal that reads clearly on kraft and tears cleanly.
- Design a sheet where at least two stickers stand entirely on their own, no logo, so people actually want to peel and use them.
- Build four sheet variants that clearly belong to one family, so a repeat customer recognizes Jandi across different box themes.
- Keep every element legible and cuttable at small scale so nothing gets lost in kiss-cutting or thin type.
Budget & Timeline
Concepts and the seal direction come first since it locks the single colour kraft treatment, then the four sheet variants develop in parallel once that family language is set. Print ready files are due at the four week mark to land ahead of the autumn restock.
Apparel production
- Items
- Sticker
- Print method
- Transfer / vinyl
- Placement & size
- The seal sits across the box opening, 60 mm diameter, and has to tear when the box is opened. The sheet inside is A6 with five or six stickers between 25 and 60 mm.
- Color limits
- Full colour digital print for the sheet. The seal is one colour on kraft, to match the box it closes.
- Sizes & run
- Seals: 40,000 a year. Sheets: 8,000 a year across four box themes, so four sheet variants and one seal.
- Cut & finish
- Kiss-cut on a sheet
Target Audience
The people opening Jandi boxes are not always the ones who bought them. Some are the gifter who wants the unboxing to feel considered, others are the recipient discovering the brand for the first time through the object in their hands.

In the client's own words
Every box we ship is sealed with a sticker, and right now it is a printed circle with the logo. We want a proper set: one seal that closes the box, and a small sheet of stickers inside that people actually keep and put on a laptop or a water bottle. The boxes each have a theme, so the sheet should have some relationship to what is inside rather than being the same for all of them. German wording where there is any.
Scope & Deliverables
- One kraft seal sticker design, single colour, built to stay legible on brown kraft and tear predictably on open
- Four sticker sheet variants, one per box theme, sharing a visual family so they read as one system
- At least two logo free, standalone stickers per sheet designed to be kept and reused
- Print ready, full colour files for the sheets and single colour file for the seal, both prepared for kiss cutting
Do's & Don'ts
Do
- Design at least two stickers per sheet with no logo at all, those are the ones people actually stick on things
- Keep the seal legible on kraft in one colour, test it at actual size before finalizing
- Treat the four sheet variants as one family, shared shapes, palette logic or characters that repeat across themes
- Design for the cutter: clean, simple shapes that kiss cut reliably at small sizes
Don't
- Do not use thin lines or type under 6 pt, the cutter will not hold that detail
- Do not make a sheet that only makes sense if the customer already knows the Jandi brand
- Do not let the seal design depend on colour contrast that will not survive one colour print on kraft
- Do not treat the four variants as unrelated designs, each should read as a sibling, not a stranger
