Jandi needs a trade fair stand that finally matches the quality of what's inside the boxes. The current setup of borrowed furniture and taped posters undercuts a brand built on the moment someone lifts a lid and finds a coffee grinder or a book waiting inside. This system replaces improvisation with a calm, organic backdrop that lets the product do the talking.
Overview & Goals
- Give Jandi a permanent, reusable stand system for its two annual fairs
- Make the unboxing moment the physical centre of the stand, not an afterthought
- Ensure the core message reads even with a table and two people standing in front of it
- Build a kit that travels and assembles without depending on the hall's fixtures or lighting
Budget & Timeline
Design is agreed in July, production runs through August, and the stand debuts at the first fair in mid-September. The same set then travels to the second fair without changes.

In the client's own words
We take a stand at two Swiss lifestyle fairs a year and we have been borrowing furniture and taping up posters. This year we want a stand that can be built by two people in three hours and fits in the van. The boxes have to be openable on the stand, because the whole argument only lands when somebody lifts the lid and finds a coffee grinder and a book inside. German. Six by three metres, open on two sides, at both fairs.
Scope & Deliverables
- Back wall visual system across its three panels
- Two side element panels
- Counter front graphic
- Hanging sign for aisle visibility
- Layout plan for a waist-height surface where an open box sits on display
- Print-ready artwork for fabric panels and rigid counter board
Do's & Don'ts
Do
- Design the back wall so the message survives with a table and two people standing in front
- Plan a clear surface at waist height where an opened box can sit and be discovered
- Keep the current palette so the stand reads as Jandi from across the aisle
- Make sure every panel fits inside a VW Caddy Maxi alongside the weekend's stock
Don't
- Don't print anything below 80 cm, furniture will hide it all day
- Don't fix anything to the hall structure
- Don't design something that only works under a specific hall lighting setup
- Don't design a panel that can't physically travel in the Caddy, it does not exist otherwise
