This is a thank you postcard that rides inside every emparo parcel, turning a routine delivery into a small moment of trust. It must explain the exchange process at a glance, surface the referral code without effort, and still feel worth keeping rather than binning. Corporate confidence paired with an organic, human warmth is the balance to strike.
Overview & Goals
- Thank the customer sincerely in the first line, before anything transactional
- Explain the exchange process in one paragraph that reads clearly at arm's length
- Make the referral code and newsletter sign up the clear next action
- Survive being read once, held for a moment, and set aside without feeling like junk mail
Budget & Timeline
Copy rewriting and layout happen first, since the file structure must lock before any language swap begins. Design and a single round of revisions fill the middle of the four weeks, leaving time to proof all four language versions before files go to print. Print ready files are due in time for the September restock, with the twice yearly print schedule to follow the same template afterward.

In the client's own words
Every parcel we ship goes out with a folded sheet that nobody designed. It explains the return process, and we want it to do more: thank the customer, explain the exchange right in one readable paragraph, and point at the newsletter and the referral code. Four language versions, printed in one run. It has to be cheap, because it goes into every single parcel, and it has to survive being read once and thrown away without feeling like junk while it is being read.
Scope & Deliverables
- Outside panel layout with return steps and thank you message
- Inside panel layout with exchange paragraph, newsletter call to action, and referral code
- Rewritten copy in a clear, single paragraph structure for the exchange process
- Master file structure built for a swappable text layer across four languages
- Print-ready output prepared for uncoated recycled stock and a half fold
Do's & Don'ts
Do
- Put the return steps on the outside panel, since that is what people open the card for
- Make the referral code impossible to miss and easy to type by hand
- Write out the URL beside any QR code
- Keep the paper feel modest and useful, in step with the recycled uncoated stock
Don't
- Do not print a QR code without a written URL beside it
- Do not use a paper stock or finish that reads as advertising
- Do not let the exchange process spill past one readable paragraph
- Do not bury the referral code inside dense text
