Emparo needs one seasonal landing page that sells the raclette and fondue occasion, not just the appliance, guiding a group of six through what to buy and when it must arrive. Built for paid social and search traffic across German, French and Italian markets, the page has to convert fast while carrying Emparo's elegant, trustworthy retail positioning. It is designed once and swapped for content each season, so the structure outlives this year's products.
Overview & Goals
- Sell the raclette occasion for six people, not a single SKU, so visitors understand what they actually need to buy
- Make the size guide and grill comparison readable at a glance on mobile, since most traffic arrives from paid social
- Put the delivery cut-off date in an unmissable, permanent spot to remove December's biggest purchase anxiety
- Ship a template that survives next season with new products and prices, without needing a developer
Budget & Timeline
Content, comparison data and translations need to be finalised early enough to build and test before launch, since ads start the same week the page goes live. French content should be prioritised in the build sequence given Romandie's earlier season start, with German and Italian following closely and English trailing as lower priority. The page must be fully live and stress-tested for mobile and cut-off visibility before 1 October, with no buffer for post-launch fixes once ad spend begins.
Target Audience
Shoppers planning a raclette or fondue gathering, typically for a group of around six, arriving through paid social and search ads with intent to buy but uncertainty about what equipment they actually need.

In the client's own words
Every year from October we sell an enormous amount of raclette and fondue equipment, and every year we do it from an ordinary category page that looks like every other category page. We want one seasonal page that sells the occasion rather than the appliance: what you need for six people, what the difference between the grill types is, what to buy with it. It has to work as an ad landing page too, because most of the traffic will arrive from paid social and search. Single page, four languages, live from the first of October.
Scope & Deliverables
- Occasion-led hero and narrative section positioning raclette night as the product, not the appliance
- At-a-glance size guide by number of guests, optimised for mobile scanning
- Grill type comparison module explaining the differences between equipment options
- Accessories and add-on section for complementary products
- Persistent delivery cut-off date banner placed for maximum visibility
- Sticky call-to-action across the scroll
- Multilingual templates for German, French, Italian and English, sequenced with French prioritised
- Newsletter signup integration
- Search functionality for the page
- Editable content structure allowing prices and products to be swapped without developer involvement
Do's & Don'ts
Do
- Place the delivery cut-off date where it cannot be missed, since that is the top December concern
- Design the size guide so it reads clearly at a glance on a phone screen
- Prioritise French content and translation given Romandie's earlier season start
- Structure content and pricing so they can be swapped each season without developer work
Don't
- Do not build a page that requires a developer to change prices
- Do not use seasonal decoration that ties the page to one specific year
- Do not bury the delivery cut-off date below the fold or inside secondary content
- Do not let the product comparison overwhelm the occasion-first narrative
